Ballast bonding in railroad track construction

Ballast bonding in rail track construction serves many different tasks that place different demands on the materials used:

  • protection against flying ballast
  • protection against ballast flow
  • ballast slope protection
  • underpressing and fixing of sleepers
  • transitions from ballast superstructure to slab track
  • position stabilization and/or correction
  • securing during work on the track
  • reduction of tamping intervals
  • easier cleaning of track ballast beds
  • reduction of dust formation during operation

For every purpose, TPH Bausysteme offers the right rail construction material with formulations specially adapted to the high demands of railroad construction. And, of course, these all have approval from the German Federal Railway Authority for operational testing for ballast bonding.
